Firewall Issues
#1
If anyone is running zone alarm, DO NOT download the new upgrade version. I had so many problems with it this morning, that it didn't let my computer run correctly. My friend had the same problem. (He's on 98 and I'm on XP- we both had different issues.)
I had to uninstall ZA by going into safemode- that's too much work if you d/l the upgrade.
Anyway, for those of you who are curious, I tried out a new firewall that was recommended to me today on an excellent tech support msg board DSL REPORTS
And here's the link for the firewall:

SYGATE FIREWALL

I used to have zone alarm, and I had problems with it as well. I recently switched to Sygate and it's wonderful.

I installed the newest zonealarm and it works fine - no issues here.

Well, SA- I advise you to remove the program and get sygate. So far, we've got 2 satisfied people w/sygate!

And goatweed- you're lucky. Just make sure you won't get the glitch at all.
