Slaves captured by other tribes were never sold to white traders by other blacks. The main traders in slaves were Arabs and Spain.

Just to add a "whiteys" perspective here so you don't think we're all assholes Laz, I am totaly against killing innocents. I don't condone this or any past injustices in the least.

That said, I know every country has their torture methods, but at least the rest of the civilized world aren't savages that behead innocent people for no reason and then broadcast it all over the media.

I want to tell you what I think their plan is because I think this beheading is different from the Pearl or Berg ones.
This guy worked for the oil companies in Saudi Arabia for years. I think that his murder is the beginning of a series of attacks on the oil companies in Saudi Arabia. The plan is to topple the government by causing the oil companies (their main source of funding) to close or relocate.
Basically since the Saudi govt. kind of supports us, even though it's really not a heart-felt support, these assholes are trying to destroy it.... ultimately they want everyone to be afraid to side with us or to help us find terrorist cells.
