I used to listen to the Fan but I switched to 1050 because Mike and the Mad Dog piss me off. I can't stand their "your opinion doesn't matter" arrogance and the way they constantly interrupt their callers. They just irritate me. I have enough road rage issues without those two idiots further infuriating me. :mad:

I agree. Especially Mike. No one else in the world is right about anything except for him.

Sports talk radio guys HATE Fantasy sports, and sportscenter. That brings the stats and the information to the average joe, and exposes the fact that their jobs aren't that fucking hard. I can read a box score, and access any stat imaginable to prove or disprove a statement.

It's opened the door to the world they used to rule over. Now if you know anything regarding numbers and facts, you're a stats geek. Bullshit.

I love sports talk radio, unless they're talking about basketball. That's actually how I stumbled on to O&A in the first place. It was a boring mid-February afternoon, Mike & the Dog were doing their 12th commercial break of the hour & came back & went directly back to Knicks talk. Rather than drive into a cement wall, I tooled around the dial & wound up catching a talk-break in the days where they were still doing mostly music. I didn't go back to WFAN until WNEW fell apart.

I usually listen to mike and the mad dog or listen to CDs at work in the afternoon. Everything else on the radio is pretty shitty.

i hate mike and the mad dog but i can't stop listening to them. the skinny one reminds of the dork from highschool that couldn't play on any of the teams but knew every stat in the world. i just love how the fat one uses big words totally out of context. one of these days i going to call and tell them how i feel.
