FU to bad surgeons

my mum had hernia surgery and the surgeon botched it up. she now has a bad staph infection and has to go to another surgeon to get fixed back up. They say it's a very complicated major surgery because they have to take all the mesh back out,redo everything,etc
She may not make it. so a great big FU to the surgeon that botched her up

Now, to the situation at hand: There are three possible outcomes 1. She dies; you're rich 2. She's maimed; you're wealthy 3. She's fine; you're poor. What's most important? Hope for that. And the worst case scenario (either 1 or 3, depending), there's still some upside.
