No, they were pushed forward b/c of good tv. the producers this year are from project greenlight...more background story....certain people are being picked to be "interesting" tv to grab viewers. They'll be weeded out, eventualy with maybe one comedy newbie for the group. moreover...the real comedians are strong: Cotter, Norton, DC Benny, Voth (new and fresh but funny), perhaps the indian guy from Dallas, and there are a few others i can't recall name that really are a cut above, a cut above the entire group of last years, too.

Who's the really old dude?
And I thought if they were sending him they shoulda moved the Grandma forward to see some fireworks.
Old dude lecturing the mono kid about finding the right girl was pretty priceless.

i like how norton gave his a little tweak to be more viewer friendly.
At least he didn't just repeat jokes you've already heard on O+A (like last year, Vos had 2 mintues of airtime, and he's dogding his daughter and offering to buy phyillis Diller a house). The sex appeal of leukemia wasn't exactly new, but it was the first time I'd heard Norton use it to describe himself.
I guess it's good O+A syndication never made it to Florida, someone might have recognized Jim Norton and pointed out he's not quite local.
If they put Norton in the house, that will make the season worth watching. He could make the stripper comic cry. And that guy in his 60s from Chicago , him and Pablo Francisco could do dueling movie-trailer-guys. I think this season will be more entertaining.
It's all a part of my secret evil plan, pal. Just watch.

see? It's funny because it's true.
Is it just me or does Norton need to get rid of that Racer-X jacket. he should wear that XXL spiderman t-shirt for all sets.

I wanted to see Norton and that midget comic in the house together.
Norton taking out the Grandma and that hack Buck Star (anyone else notice he used Vos's homeless line in his last audition in front of skinny gay guy and fat idiot?) made his Tampa appearance all worth it.
Tonight, all 40 (40!) of these comics will be in NY, and Colin Quinn and Vos will be two of the judges - should be good.

Best joke of Tuesday's show (but I don't remember who said it)...
Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwartzenhaggar - trying to breed a bulletproof Kennedy.
