Amy's advice is the best of all. Just talk to this girl, get to know her, and get her to know you. After a while you might start to grow on her. After a while, youll be able to tell when the time is right, ask her if shed like to hang out sometime.
But the main thing is just talk to her.

Yeah she might say to herself, "he can do better than that girl." She might even think that she should be going out with you instead. This is only if the whole talking thing i mentioned doesn't work though.
