Well, yesterday Jae Seo continued to impress.

Seo continues. I've followed his career, and it is nice to see him come back from Tommy John surgery. He seems to be a smart pitcher; even if he gives up hits, they usually dont hurt. Also nice to see in his second time vs Braves he picked up a few things.

well, Jose Reyes finally up (for a bit), and hit 2 for 4, with 2 runs scored.

Mets also now have hot 2B prospect - Danny Garcia hitting .341 with 7 walks and 20 RBI in 25 games at Norfolk.

yeah 2004 + beyond is looking good I must say. :disappointed:

Still reeling from the tragic loss in San Fran by the Gints and with my Rangers and Knicks suckin as bad as they did...I was really hoping that at least my Metropolitans would be somewhat contending...

I gotta say, this young blood we have on the team makes them watchable again. They arent gonna win every game, but they are fun to watch, and its great to watch guys build their careers up. Who woulda ever thunk at the start of the year that Jae Seo would be the most consistent, and quite frankly, the best pitcher on the team? That kid can pitch.

And, at least there are some veterans willing to help the team. Floyd and Burnitz are forming a solid frame around these young guys out there. Although I'd rather be in first place or contending for a title, it was obvious that wasnt gonna happen with the veteran shits we had playing everyday. So, this is the next best thing. Now all we gotta do is trade some of these guys for more young prospects.

I'm not making any predictions on who should be traded away aside from Alomar. But I have to agree it is refreshing to see some of these new guys out there playing. Getting back to trading, who should be gotten rid of aside from Alomar??

According to nydailynews.com, a press conference will be held this afternoon to announce that GM Steve Phillips has been fired. All I have to say is, it's about damn time.

Now I can root for them to win again, without worrying that Mr. Skill Sets will be back.

He wasnt bad, but first 2 choices have to be Brian Sabean and Gene "Stick" Michaels.
Another name heard is Sandy Alderson, now MLB man,but was A's GM before Beene.
