Tangents aren't the major problem, <b>it's the threads that never had a point to begin with.</b>

Now, this is the part I'm not understanding. What is the purpose of OT, if not to contain threads that do <b>not</b> have a specific focus or "point" as you say? Is it strictly for <a href=http://board.yourmomsbox.net/viewthread.php?tid=978 target=_blank>non-O&A news-worthy topics</a>? Genuine <a href=http://board.yourmomsbox.net/viewthread.php?tid=971 target=_blank>serious discussion threads</a>? <a href=http://board.yourmomsbox.net/viewthread.php?tid=993 target=_blank>Question and answer sessions</a>?

The problem may be that OT has pretty much existed as being very broad in what defined it, and it is now suddenly being narrowed rather unexpectedly.

As it stands, you're turning Silera's little pocket on the web into a second Off-Topic, which I just find odd.

If anything, could I propose this: unite The Pub and Silera's Corner into one forum... <b>Silera's Lounge</b>, perhaps? The place to go for members' chats, games, fights, weed smoking, and so on. Kind of like a bar or a club where we all hang.

As far as all this goes, I've kept fairly quiet and disconnected from it. Why? I feel that, as someone running this board, it's not my place to "mod". I chose my mods. I expect them to mod. However, relax yourselves. I will do my best to not take sides. I will do my best to be fair. Of all the bitching and moaning I've been reading, wanna' know how many PMs I've received? None. Way to sway me, people. I'll put this out here for all to read right now; the last say is mine. I mean no disrespect to anybody else I "work" with here, but I think even my cohorts would agree that I haven't disregarded their opinions, on whatever matter, as trash, as of yet. I listen and I give my two cents.

Now, as far as the complaints go about how we're running this board, unless you contact me in private with your grievances, shut the fuck up. I wouldn't let anything happen with which I didn't partially agree.

Take the Ninny v. Crack war for example... I believe I expressed my feelings to them about how I felt regarding the situation. It continued. FTL made a move. I stood back. Oddly enough, they seem to be getting along better. Chaos avoided. As far as I'm concerned, this entire reply shouldn't be one all the members can lay eyes upon because, frankly, my decison is final. But I'm trying to show you that your opinions count, your ability to have fun and laugh with each other is my main goal and I care about this board.

Now, if you'd please allow me to have some fucking fun around here instead of giving me a headache each time I log on, it'd be greatly appreciated.
