sounds like a dead battery, fuel injector problem or something wrong with your spark plugs.

Definitely not the battery. It would turn over endlessly and nothing else was affected (lights, radio, signals, etc).
It was the fuel pump. The majority of the expense was due to the fact that the pump is located inside the fueltank, which apparently equals lots of billable hours.
My hole is excellent thank you 6-pack, though fraught with tumbleweeds and dustmites. How's your junk doing?
