True, but I'd still like to be able to get the show any where in the country without a shit load of annoying commercials and censor assfucks.

I'll hold out for the mp3s.

And I know that the argument for paying for sirius or xm is that people didn't want to pay for cable tv when it came out either. But, let's be honest, you don't have cable TV in your car now do you?

If I want to listen to music in my car, I use my CD player or listen to whatever is on local radio.

I'm sure you don't say the same about air TV versus satellite or cable.......

What's the difference?

I personally will never get either of those two because frankly the only time I listen to the radio is in my car. Why should I waste all that money for that?
Hell, if I got home before the O&A show was over, I didn't bother to put it on in the house. I honestly could care less.

I know you can bring it anywhere, but like I said, unless I'm in the car I have absolutely no desire to listen to the radio.

Cable TV in the car? You don't have air TV in the car either. Stupid argument. I'd expect better from you.

It's about sound quality, and more options in the form of more channels. If CDs and air radio are enough for you, that's fine. I'd rather listen to my assorted high quality music without having to download it all first. That's boring, you already know what's coming on. And after a day or two, you've listened to everything in your changer and you have to switch it.

Not to mention the fact that air radio has extremely limited playlists. Same shit over and over. AWFUL.

I'll keep my 100 channels.

I won't try to convert you, and I'm sure my next car will have satellite radio in it and the service will be built-in to my car payment.

I guess my main reason for not wanting to pay for radio is that the longest trip I generally take in my car is 20 minutes to the airport. My commute is 5 minutes. Not much radio listening happening in 5 minutes. In fact, most mornings my entire commute is shorter than a Howard Stern commerical break.

So, then it's not good for you.

My commute is typically 35-45 minutes each way, and I usually drive more on top of that, so for me, it's awesome.
