Quote:Originally posted by sweet angel Hot looking little cars. My sister just bought one brand new. Standard. She's a tool, she took it out of the lot not having a clue how to drive standard. I tried to teach her twice, it was scary. She's learning quick now though, We place bets when she pulls out of anywhere to see if she stalls it again or not. It's at 60 / 40 rights now. And we've bet the tranny on a year and a half.

Ha ha. Wish her luck with it. I think it's the biggest piece of shit (it's a '98)...although my friend is on her 2nd one and loves them.
Mine stalls out all the time when I pull out of my driveway (all year round), even if I let it warm up. The buttons on the radio have been losing paint (plastic?) since it was about 6 months old. The volume knob on the radio sometimes works opposite of the way you turn it. I didn't get the power windows, and since the first winter, the driver's side window has given me trouble. It's been off the track once. The latest problem is that the driver's side window handle now pops off in your hand when you try to roll it up or down. Oh yeah, and the plastic thing that covers the seat belt clip thing broke on one side and is on its way out on the other side. They are cute though.

Ah, I thought you were making a dirty reference.
Her first one was a '95 or '96. She got the new one last year because something minor "went" and her (rich) husband didn't want to fix it so he bought her a new one.

Quote:Originally posted by sweet angel She says it's the "po man's" vehicle. She's 28, and JUST got her full license. What an idiot. It seemed a whole era of people went throught that. Myself, the DAY I turned 16, I wrote (then called "365") my test. 365 indicated a year, but you could write for your full license test within 90 days. I've been driving since 1990. Less than 30 days after my birthday. She did't think it was important.
