I was driving in my neck of the woods yesterday afternoon and I switched to WPDH. As my kids were screaming in the back, I half heard something about "After a year off", "Returning to radio", and I thought I heard "Opie".
Not sure if the boys signed a deal with WPDH or not. But I thought I'd throw it out there for discussion. Anyone listen to PDH that can verify this or am I just fucking old and senile and hearing shit again?
For the record - WPDH is a Classic Rock station based out of Poughkeepsie. The signal can be heard from North of Nanuet and points west of it. They just fired their morning show and replaced them with "shock jocks" Karlson and Mckenzie. They're also in the middle of cleaning house. I'm wondering if the boys are back in business?

According to Stephen Lynch on Saturday night, it's going to be 9 months untill their contract is up and we should hear from them then.

101.5 on the FM dial. The NYC, Central and south jersey group won't get it thanks to the piece of shit talk radio station based out of AC. As I drive up the Palisades, PDH starts to fade in and out around Orangeville and is full strength by the time I hit Nanuet (NYS Thruway).

Also on Saturday (with Opie in attendance) Norton said nothing about the boys getting on a new station. Only that there's no word yet, Infinity won't let them out of their contracts, but since their contract is up on June 1, that's the latest they should be on.

Speaking as someone who deals with WPDH... don't count on it.
The "Opie" you may have heard was "Mackenzie" who is part of their morning show.

The new PD of WPDH just took the job came from WLIR. So he does have Long Island roots, but I doubt he's got a bond with Opie.

NEVERMIND - FALSE ALARM!
Thank you for the clarification dolphin boy. I didn't realize that Mckenzie's first name was Opie.
I chalk this one up to old age, senility and screaming children in the car.
MOVE ALONG....NOTHING TO SEE.....
