Again, you are not here. And every news source has an opinion on what is going on out here. The support is stilll here, it's still going strong. The registrar office had more people register to vote than ever before. The absentee ballots are flooding in every day. The interest is still strong.

Ooh, he called me Hillary. Spoken like a true dittomonkey. Believe me, I am not a Democrat.

Again, coup d'etat. The massive budget deficits were caused, in large part, by power companies creating a false energy crisis, coupled with the failure of the Feds to return money borrowed from the states. Somehow blame for this gets shifted to the governor, people buy it, Republicans push for a recall, people buy it.
Quote:Not let's not forget they tried to recall Reagan many times too, and they couldn't get the support. They got the support for Davis. That says a lot if you ask me. It's the people exercising their right.
And the insane minipulation of the people and their rights by those who wish to attain as much power as possible.

OK, thank you. Thanks for giving me a serious reply for once instead of tryin to shove another insult up my ass. That is an honest "man on the street" opinion from someone in Cali.
It makes me feel better. It makes me feel like this hasn't degraded into another political circus.

Ahem. I'm a girl.
And don't get me wrong, it's a circus. But one that is being taken seriously. It's California, afterall. What fun would it be without the Terminator or Larry Flint?

OK, I never said Davis was THE DEVIL and was responsible for every problem there. But he IS in charge and in accountabe. What has he done to help? Raise taxes?

This is a very bleak opinion on the people of California. This suggests you think the average citizen is nothing more than a puppet of Limbaugh or others, waiting by their radios an TV sets like dogs for commands. I don' think of the citizens of our country like that.

He was faced with a budget crisis that was being heavily influenced by...outside sources. Was he supposed to lower taxes in order to help alleviate that? I realize that that's the Republican solution these days, but a look at the Federal deficit should be proof enough that it's not the way to go.

I do. The majority of our population are ignorant and apathetic sheep, at the mercy of a government who only wishes to use them to advance their own agenda. More than half of registered voters think we've found WMD's in Iraq, and think Saddam was behind the 9/11 attacks. What more proof do you need?

If I lived in Cali, I'd be voting for her. :o

This is indeed sad. You actually believe that? honeslty? This isn't you being sarcastic?
Because this is the core belief of Liberalism in my opinion. It's the belief that people are so stupid that they need people to give them everythin they need. This is very false, and very un-American. The ideals of our country are that you have the power to make or break yourself. And through our freedoms we can attain the American dream.
To just think the populous as puppets really kills that dream.
