INSIDE RADIO reports that Jim Kerr and Shelli Sonstein are the new WAXQ morning team as of next Tuesday.
First, Jim Kerr and Shelli Sonstein are old-school. That's WPLJ style, back in the 80's.
Anyone want to start a pool of where the Chick ends up? She's burned her infinity Bridge, she got dumped in NYC... I'm guessing she might end up in DC for some strange reason.

How long before the billboards on the Turnpike are taken down? Considering Sony kept a billboard up for "A Knight's Tale" and "The Family Man" for SIX MONTHS after their initial releases...

Allow me to recommend 1050 ESPN radio.
Or even Imus. yeah, IMUS.
Leslie was NEVER, EVER funny. It was all about Chuck and Butch and even those two...ehh, whatevah.
and yeah, that show on Metro...kryst, it's so awful.
Peace out Leslie - go do some porn or something, make the ends meet.

As sacrilegious as this may sound to O&A fans, I wouldn't mind seeing that.
You'd have to put a bag over that awful face, but her body isn't bad at all.

ALLACCESS:
CLEAR CHANNEL Classic Rocker WAXQ (Q104.3)/NEW YORK has parted ways with morning personality LESLIE GOLD (aka THE RADIO CHICK). Exiting with LESLIE are her morning mates CHUCK NICE and BUTCH BRENNAN.
LESLIE and company's departure opens up the morning slot a new early program, "THE JIM KERR ROCK N' ROLL MORNING SHOW," which stars, as you may have guessed, local broadcast veteran JIM KERR, who had been doing weekends at Q104.3 since NOVEMBER 2001. He'll be joined at his new post by SHELLI SONSTEIN, his fellow WPLJ alum of 13 years. SONSTEIN most recently served as the PEOPLE MAGAZINE entertainment reporter for the CBS RADIO NETWORK and morning show news anchor for GREATER MEDIA Rock WDHA/DOVER, NJ. The two will start it up at Q104.3 next TUESDAY (10/7) morning, 5:30a-9a.
In the week leading up to KERR's show debut, Q104.3 will have special guest DJ's taking over the station during the 5:30a-9a shift. The line-up of classic rock artists include: JON BON JOVI, PETER FRAMPTON, LITTLE STEVEN and more.
Oh yay. Stunt DJ's. BTW, wasnt the 'MOD SQUAD' canceled after a couple of years? If you dont learn from history...

No. Radio has been dead since O&A went off the air. I turn it on, but I don't really listen to it.
It's just filler to drown out the screams.
