Kids are kidnapped everyday but why did everyone make a big deal about Elizabeth Smart? People are murdered everyday why did everyone make a big deal about Laci peterson. It's a good point to ponder when it comes to this chick as well but it all comes down to the fact that she went missing close to the holidays and it has been a slow news month.

Part if it is cuz it's such a low crime area, plus the unusualness of them making an arrest without any evidence.

I can't believe I didn't pick up on that white blonde thing. Chandra levy wasn't all hot like the media was tyring to say but she was an intern and that was the angle there.
Trying to think of some of these prominent cases that involved someone who isn't white.
