sportswriters need to shut the fuck up. They now are bitching about how OT in Hockey is too long and how they need to change the system. It's worked for a century....why change it just because some sportswriter has to stay up till 2am to watch the end of the game in the east coast? Go fuck yourselves you opinionated assholes. I hope the next games go so long you miss your deadlines. Sports writers are so quick to demand change. I propose that sports writers that misquote people should be fired on the spot.
Keep the OT the way it is. Nothing more epic than a battle of atrition by two teams.

I agree. At one point I was sick of overtime and then I got really into the first game of Ducks V Stars and I got a better appreciation for overtime.
I think that sports writers bitchin about certain things is ok though. Like NFL ovetime. That system sucks. Switch it to be like the college one or make it like the hockey one with continuous overtime.
nothing here...

Even though I don't write much anymore, I'll try to keep quiet.
By the way...who can I compain to about this forum being named after my employer's competition?
As for the 5 OT game, I was stuck here at work tht night until it was over. Normally I love being the hockey producer here. Those are the situations that make me regret it. it would have been a gret game to watch as a fan, but not as somebody who has to be tied to his desk while watching it.

The watching of the game part wasn't too grueling. It just sucked to have to be here for 16 hours that day.
But I'll keep my job, thanks.
