I don't deny the fact that I go a little overboard when it comes to bashing people who disrepect the flag. (which is their legal right to do so regardless). But that's what my post was based on.

I turned on the game with 10 minutes to go saw it was close and watched. If it wasn't close I would've flipped the channel to something else. Therefore, I didn't see the halftime show or any of those fascinating commercials.

Well I was pulling for the Pats because my friend is a Carolina fan and had the audacity to rub the Eagle's defeat in my face after the NFC championship game. The only thing I can equate this to is when I was a youngster going to school on a Monday after ND lost a game and listening to the other kids mock me because they were all Penn State fans or FSU or Miami fans.

This Carolina fan is a fellow ND fan and understands that torment and how I subsequently took a position to be a good sport and not get all bent out of shape about sports. So fuck her I'm glad Carolina lost I hope she had a wonderful night watching it. I instead was reading my son Dr. Seuss and at one point watching a history channel show on biblical disasters. I also did some dishes and changed a boatload of lightbulbs. Sweet Christ my house had a lot of dead bulbs. But I did catch the last 10 minutes and cheered for New England all the way.

If we didn't lose those 10 days on the board I'd direct you back to where I prediced the Pats by 3 "because if it's not close I ain't watching" but oh well. Just the same that's how it was.
