this entire thread gives me douche chills.
arguing over music is ridiculous since its a personal choice what is good or bad, its not quantifiable. its in the ear of the beholder.
i'd like to hear what direction Josh was taking things, and who they replace Oliveri with.

As of right now they've "replaced" Oliveri with the Screaming Trees' Van Connor. Mark Lanegan also bowed out, though they said it was because of conflict with his other projects. Which, I'm kinda pleased about, i didnt appreciate his vocals, aside from "Hangin' Tree" i really didn't think he brought much to the band, he was kinda just...there.
And if the new album is going any direction towards that of The Desert Sessions then bring it on. His single with PJ Harvey was awesome, and the video was pretty cool too.

however, whether a person is attractive or ugly is ALWAYS up for debate.
anyhoo...
as far as I'm concerned regarding QOTSA, I'm kinda bummed because I finally got my hands on copy of SFTD not too long ago and I was digging it enough to want to hear their next release...

Now I'm pissed. WTF..... They're a great band and K-Rock really hasnt played them out as much as they have w/Trapt with that stupid "headstrong" song. That shit gets played at least 40x a day.
