I guess with 13 episodes, they have to build up to it.

Quote:Originally posted by sweet angel Yeah look for this series to move slower than the last book of The Wheel Of Time. (OK, so most of you won't get that one, but those who do will chuckle) And anteater, aardvark, whatever - it was a cheap effect designed to keep folks in their seats while episodes 2-10 provide nothing really exciting. King's gotten to slow and methodical in his plotting - he's always provided a plethora of background before the action and horror really takes off, but now he's just gotten lame.

I haven't seen tonight's episode yet...
but that is the beauty of Stephen King. He builds up to his climax. He lets you become involved with his characters, his idiosycryancies. He's hip. He's culture. He knows what is going on. It may take him a bit to get there, but you will enjoy the ride. The background information is so important...any SK fan will know. It's all inter-connected....it all comes together in the end. Have faith.

For those that did see it, what happened this episode?

It started off showing a girl in a car, and her bf who was in jail, both taking pills to die at the same time. She died, but he was found and taken to the hospital. While in the ambulance, the radio started playing and the EMTs couldn't figure out how it was playing. Then the driver saw that old ambulance next to him with no one driving it, and freaked out. While in the ER his eyes started to bleed and then he sat right up. The doctors and nurses in the room busted out in song, the same song that was playing in the ambulance. (na na na na na na na na hey hey hey goodbye) Dr. Hook, the crazy lady that keeps getting admitted, and the 2 downs kids found the doll that was on top of elevator 2. The crazy lady convinced Dr. Hook to admit her so she could communicate with the ghost girl, who he saw on the elevator shaft. Dr. Hook injected her face so it would look like she had a stroke so he could admit her without the head of neurosurgery being pissed. She ended up finding the ghost, but it turned out to be another ghost, older than the girl, and male. The head of neurosurgery (I forgot his name) was accused of malpractice by the mother of some girl in the hospital. That girl was earlier seen staring at ghost girl and rocking on her bed. Ghost girl told the guy who got hit by the car in episode 1 that she was scared, he asked of who and the new male ghost came after her, showing his vampire-like teeth. Meanwhile, the guy who tried to kill himself in prison is his new roommate.
