The 1st annual Camping Trip that's been squashed to shit.

I've already spoken to Alkey about it and he's cool with the idea. So, what I have planned for us is a camping trip to the Newburg, NY campground, in Monticello, NY.
Now keep in mind that these campgrounds have amenities, in other words, showers, pool(s), laundry, etc.
I don't know if everyone here can pitch tents, so I figured the best thing for us to do is to rent a lodge or a cabin. If you can pitch a tent, then by all means, if that's what you want to do, then you can do it. But the tent areas may be farther away than the cabin/lodge area.
I will post the link and I'd really like everyone's opinion on this.
Price-wise, I'm not too sure yet. I ordered a group rate booklet to see how much it would be to rent cabins/lodges.
Lastly, I figured this could be done in August, during an entire weekend. Fri-Sun or for some of you that can't make it on a Friday, Sat-Sun.
Give me your thoughts & opinions.

i knew there had to be some since there's a shitload of boyscout camps as well - and yes i do know from experience including one that's literally an island.
hope this helps in your search.

i can pitch a tent and all that other good stuff as well as have a number of old supplies, propane stove, lanterns, yadda yadda but not like i'm going to go so that does you no good... haha
