Quote:Originally posted by GreasyItalianPrincess The only team with a prayer to beat the Avs is Detroit... Colorado just has to much firepower even without Kariya who is now out indefintely. Both Tanguay and Blake will be back for game 1 or the very latest, game 2. And, despite not having Roy anymore, I think the goaltending will still hold up. With an offense that can easily score 4 or 5 goals a night, and a solid Defense with Blake back in the line up, Aebischer doesn't have as tough as a job. <marquee>We are the music-makers, And we are the dreamers of dreams, Wandering by lone sea-breakers, And sitting by desolate streams; World-losers and world-forsakers, On whom the pale moon gleams: Yet we are the movers and shakers Of the world for ever, it seems.</marquee>

Lightning beat Habs in 7 Maple Leafs beat Flyers in 7 in a potentially great series. West Red Wings beat Flames in 6 (and it won't even seem that close) Avalanche beat Sharks in 5...setting up the best series of the playoffs, Wings/'Lanche.

Quote:Originally posted by Hasegawa I didn't see it, but I just read about it on ESPN.com. That sounded like it hurt a lot. If I played hockey I would most definitely be wearing a shield for reasons like this. Was there a lot of blood on the ice when this happened?
