This will be one of those movies like "Underworld" or "Van Helsing", it won't do awesome box office numbers but when it is released on DVD everyone will either rent it or buy it or both. The sad part about most movies now, is they aren't a "Big Screen" necessity. They can be viewed at home or at the theater, it doesn't matter. They aren't HUGE movies. Titanic and Twister are HUGE movies that had to be seen on the big screen to appreciate them fully. "The Day after Tomorrow" falls into that category too. Do I think it's going to be an epic? No, but it's going to be entertaining and the special effects are going to be what everyone wants to see anyway. and unless you've got a theater sized screen in your house, its just not the same on a small screen
