or some earlier Democratic President,
It drives me crazy.

When Saddam Hussein went to war with Iran, who supplied him with weapons?
A: Ronald Reagan.

Who supplied Osama Bin Laden with weapons and training to fight off the Russians in Afghanistan?
A: Ronald Reagan.

When the Iran-Contra scandal came out, who had been supplying weapons to Iran, even though that would have been going against the earlier assistance to their enemy in Iraq?
A: George H. Bush (while he was vice-president under Reagan).

Is it any wonder why Hussein and Bin Laden hate us so much? We have this strange tendency to change policy and allies from administration to administration. By the time Cliniton came into the Presidency, the hatred was there even though he wasn't making any waves. The assassination attempt on the 1st President Bush following the Gulf War and the 1993 attack on the WTC should have warned us that something was imminent.
