It seems like Jeff Van Gundy is the hottest free agent coach in the league, and with good reason. He is one of the best coaches in the league right now. So, if you had to choose where he should go, where would you choose? Personally I think the best situation for him to coach is in Houston. Yao Ming and Steve Francis are incredible, and Van Gundy could help take that team to the next level. Now that Larry Brown stepped down, I would not rule Van Gundy out of coaching in Philly, but I wouldnt do that if I was him. Houston is a more promising place to coach.
However, if he stayed in the announcer's booth, i wouldnt mind either, because he makes watching the games on TNT a lot more enjoyable. The team of the Czar, Marv, and Van Gundy is a very good announcing crew.
