All right then, but what about the more recent attempt to sue McDonald's, when the parents of some (shall we say \"hefty\" children) sued McDonald's because they were feeding their kids the stuff every single damn day and SURPRISE SURPRISE they got fat. I mean, thank God that lawsuit got tossed out on its keister, but the fact remains that no one EVER wants to take responsibility for their own actions, it's always a case of if you fuck up, it has to be someone else's fault.

I absolutely, 100%, agree. Perfect example of a BS lawsuit.

And it's not only lawsuits that need to be placed under control, it's the cash awards that can be given out from them. Some politicians (I think Bloomberg is leading the way locally) are trying to get a cap placed on how much a person can win from lawsuits against the city and such.

I'll just say that Bloomberg can eat a dick, and leave it at that...
