Heart disease. He had a heart attack several months prior to his death, and was just days away from being cleared by his doctor to return to the ring when he passed on. As far as I know, drugs did not play a role in neither the heart attack nor his death.

And of course, knowing how responsible the media is, there is NO WAY they'd lump this in with Pillman/Rude/etc. down the road.

It's getting to the point where if a third-stringer XFL player commits mass murder, Vince will be blamed.
