I'll give a setup, and I'd like people's opinions of where the drama started.

If I post a personal opinion on my personal blogsite - and then someone runs off and starts shit - did I cause the drama by posting a personal opinion, or did the party I offend start it?

My thoughts on this, if someone gets offended, then somewhere in the "opinion" there lies some truth.
Why else would someone take such offense at it? Truth hurts, plain and simple.

That said, are you totally without fault? No. I'm not saying you started the shit, but you did fuel the fire. Kinda like a certain someone who liked to quit message boards and come back within a week.
