That story's a couple of months old actually Moosen. Unless we're talking of different stories. Guy had to hike like 4 miles after cutting his own arm off to escape, after days of being trapped.
That's a rough one.
I read a study on monkeys, relating them to humans, that said: "The mother monkey, when exposed to shockwaves through the floor of a cage, initially picked up her baby to protect him. The mother monkey, while being tortured with the electric currents, for however long, up to whatever levels, finally put the baby underneath her to stand on and protect her from the electricity".
I think I'd die first......but they say that natural human preservation instincts set in. The whole thought is just scary.
