As some of you may know, I am doing the Avon walk for Breast Cancer October 2nd and 3rd, a 39.3 mile walk to raise money and awareness for Breast Cancer concerns. I really need to raise a LOT of money (about $1400) by then, so I'd like to announce my first annual (hopefully) Dodgeball Tournament at Chelsea Piers on Sunday September 19th.
It's 16 teams, 5 people per team, best 2 out of 3 per match. The entry fee is $100 per team, that can be submitted as a tax deductible donation to my Avon Walk Fund .
Then starting at 7, there will be an "awards ceremony"/After Party at Red Rock West 2 blocks away, where a team of their bartenders have already signed up as a team.
