I think it's pretty clear that the 1000 (or so) RIAA lawsuits are just a big scare tactic, to get people to quit using P2P programs like Kazaa.
So, is it working on you?
For myself, I'd say no. I just opened Kazaa a few minutes ago, and there were about 3.5 million people online, sharing nearly 750 million files, a total of 5.5 petabytes of info (5.5 million GB).
Of 3.5 million people - and that's just those that are logged on right now - only 1000 subpoenas have been sent out. I guess I'm playing the odds.
