The reason I asked this is because one of my friends said to me last night, we're approcahing thirty. And, that I've had a hard 30 years. This is something I didn't understand. He tried explaining it to me. My career in the Fire Service(Volunteers 1987-98 FDNY 97-present) going thru the 11th and all the other assorted shit that comes with being a dispatcher. I smoke, my time in the service. I thought it was cause I got picked on a lot when I was a kid. I still figure it this way, he had college fraternity parties and a girlfriend(now his wife) who kept him on a really really tight leash. So I missed out on the college thing, but I have had some cool experiences and I wouldn't change much about my life. I don't think I have lived my life hard, as much as I have lived it as good as I could.
