and I start this only cause I don't want my comments to be seen as a defilement of the other.
Part of me IS very suprised to see how "back to usual" things have gotten. I didn't think much about 9-11 today. The radio didn't mark the event with anything special.
At first their were flags EVERYWHERE you looked.
Time passed and many of the flags were tatters on the antennas of passing cars.
Now the flags are all but gone. A few people at work were wearing pins, but I almost sneered when I saw them. It seemed to be as token a gesture as wearing a shamrock on St. Patty's day.
