Actually, I always hoped that if they made a fifth movie (not starting over, but going in line with the Burton/Schumacher series), that they made Ra's Al Ghul the main villian. Since he's not so over-the-top (as the Batman villian's gallery goes), it would <i>have</i> to be an intelligent movie, showing off Batman as "the world's greatest detective".

(Sigh) But that's just wishful thinking, isn't it?

Just out of curiosity, I Googled "Batman" and "fanfilms". Turns out there <a href=http://www.filmrot.com/articles/filmrot/003177.php target=new>are three other fanfilms</a>, one of which is based on "Batman Beyond: Year One". :o

Supposedly, if you e-mail the guy on that second site with your address, he'll send you a DVD copy of the movie free.
