It's been a few days now since my original post on this. The officer who took the report was back in the office today for the first time since Monday.
I'm second guessing myself now. I'm wondering if I really should sign the complaint, or if maybe just the fact that the kid has a police report on him might be enough to scare him. I mean, I hate that the kid could end up with a juvenile record, but with the way most kids are these days, maybe that's what it will take.
I'm contemplating calling the mother tomorrow and talking to her.
