He confessed to another patient.

He's been going for insanity defense the whole time. Dancing around naked in a motel then checking himself into a psych hospital.

The part that confuses me is the police said that there were signs of a struggle in the apartment but this patient witness says that Hacking killed his wife in her sleep.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it.
