I go to the movies by myself all of the time. I almost prefer it over going with anyone.
Unless of course, they know to keep thier mouth shut once "Feature Presentation" is flashed up on the screen.
and yeah, mid-week afternoon matinees...can't beat it. I hear ya.

reading that reminded me of the time I went to see South Park in the theater...it was just me and four random senior couples.
Within 20 minutes, 3 of the couples left, utterly disgusted I'm sure...the last couple stuck around and enjoyed the entire film.
we were all laughing our asses off...in one big ass empty theater.
ahhh...good times.
