Kids Names

So last week there was a report saying Michael and Ashley were the most popular of childs names.

Then I get an e-mail from a friend of mine who just had a kid, and named him, get this, Grayson. Isn't that Robins' last name?? My cousin named her kid Myles, He's in for a rough childhood, too.

The point is, why are parents today and celebrities too, giving their kids names that will haunt them for years to come?? Not to mention the bullying and all that shit. James Peter BlueEyes, nice strong Irish name, huh?? What is soooo wrong with giving your kid a name that will not have him crying in 5 years when he gets teased?? Is it a contest to see who can give their kid the weirdest name?? Give these kids real names dammit. Names like George, Tom, Patrick, Danny, Billy, Timothy, Sarah, Chris. Not Tucker, or Hayden or Laquanna or Ronde and Antrim. Ok I am done ranting. Although I would have loved to have been close enough to this friend to slap her silly when she came up with that name, my cousin too.

And what, you ask will I name my first child if I am so blessed?? Christopher or Joseph David if a boy, Leah Rose if it's a girl.
