No, as opposed to this country where you only pay when you're actually sick or injured. Otherwise, the money remains in your salary, so you can spend it where you see fit.

I, for one, would prefer to pay as I go, not have yet another tax on my wages done for services I may not necessarily require anytime soon.

That's what Social Security is for.

As far as my health and well-being are concerned, <a href=http://sierp.tc.pl/wlodek/healthca.htm target=new>it is not something I wish to have bureaucratized to the point of ineffectiveness.</a>

Our public schools are government-operated, for example. Why then, are so many of them lacking even the barest supplies, and far more have outdated curriculum?
