I said this before... the people who are all pissy about \"not paying for radio\"... it's 10-15 bucks a month. In the long and short of it, that's not a whole lot to ask for quality entertainment.
20 O&A shows a month.
$15 bucks a month.
Less than one dollar a show.
And I'm guessing probably LESS commercial breaks.
And like I'm saying again, it's not just the monthly fee. Some of you in your giddiness seem to overlook the fact that it will cost hundreds just to buy all the equipment as well.
$150 - $250 for the main setup
Another $100 for the boombox (optional)
Another $100 for the home adapter (which you know most of you would want since you wouldn't be in your cars for 4 hours)
Plus many more small accessory extras (some aren't need, but others are)
Yup, that comes out to just $15 a month. Nothing else to buy people. Just look under your pillow and the tooth fairy will have given you a brand new satellite radio. All you have to do is pay the monthly fee.
Do they offer any way to listen to it online? That's where they are missing out. It's all about getting you to buy this friggin receiver. Which thanks to modern electronics will break in a year or two and god forbid you didn't get a service plan you'll have to buy a new one.
