Yesterday, I met up with some of the usual suspects, and Hottie to show her around Lower Manhattan. Our first stop was the Tenhouse(FDNY Engine/Ladder 10 across the street from where the WTC used to be). Within twenty feet of the corner of Liberty street and Greenwich street, there were about 15 or so vendors selling different pictures of the Trade Center, either before the attacks, during them,(pretty awful pic of the second plane hitting) and after, piles of rubble or photos of the towers coming down. Now I don't have a problem with people trying to make a buck, especially the hot dog vendors and food vendors around the Pit(as I call it, cause Ground Zero is a title made up by the media) but these people hawking the pictures are a different story. It's like selling memorabilia at a funeral home or cemetery. It's just really in poor taste. This place is not a tourist attraction, or at least it shouldn't be. And another FU to the hippie conspiracy theorists standing out in front of the PATH station yelling about cover ups and what not, show a little respect for the dead you pigfuckers. Enjoy.....
I'm not quite there yet
