I couldn't put into words my thoughts of this. Granted he is no different than anyone else who volunteered to serve this country, except he turned down a big ass paycheck. He wanted no special treatment and aimed for the elite of the Army. That takes balls. In a day and age where so many sports "heroes" are looked upon with rose colored lenses, this guy is a true hero. Gave up everything to serve his country and paid the ultimate price for that service. Words can't express the gratitude and sorrow this country should feel for this man, or any other person who has fallen. As a former member of the Armed Forces, I salute him.
On a side note, I'd like to see the Cardinals pay his family the contract money he was offered.
