Boxing today is completely a disgrace to what it once was. I wouldn't walk across the street to see a heavyweight bout nowadays.
Smaller weight classes are just as bad. Roy Jones, Jr is the biggest fraud champion ever. It's bullshit the way judges won't award a title a fighter, only a KO will do. When Roy Jones knows he should be down a card, he just stops fighting and goes into dodge mode. He knows that if he doesn't get KO'd, he has no chance of losing the title. That means the fans suffer, and the rankings are bullshit.
As far as Tyson goes, he was one hell of a fighter in his younger years. Looking back on his career though, he really had a sheltered road to the top. By the time boxers like Holyfield fought Tyson, he was on his way down.
