I've just decided to wait until I completely rid myself of dependency on my father before getting anything done. I came to that conclusion about 5 or 6 years ago and in that time my ideas for what my first tat should be have changed dramatically so it's prolly better off that I just wait or I'll have some piece of shit tattoo that I don't really care for in 5 years.
Does anyone regret getting certain tattoos done?

Oh yeah- I forgot to mention the pain factors....
My tongue didn't hurt...getting it stretched right from a 14g to a 10g did hurt a little. I think I'm gonna go down 1 more size to an 8g.
The only ear piercing that hurt was my left cartilage. Esp when that got stretched to a 14g ring-- it bled. My navel hurt like a bitch. I was afraid to breathe, sit or eat....
And the tattoo--- it hurt but the pain subsided after a while. I said I would never do it again, and when I walked out, I said that I wanted another one. Ha.

I like my first tattoo alot, my only problem with it is that i had wanted it to be substantially bigger than it is but my Father refused to allow me to get that size.
Thinking about it though, it allots me more room to get more work done on that area.
The tongue didn't hurt until the days after. That was more of an annoying sore feeling. The tatts didn't hurt but again annoyed me when they started itching, especially the one on my upper back.

I had both ears pierced in high school, I havent worn earrings in years though. They tend to look down on that in the corporate world. Wonder what they would think of me spending all my time on a defunct radio shows message board.
I think it's time that corporate assholes need to get w/the times & accept small minor things like earrings in men.
Hell- if Ed Bradly from 60 minutes can wear one (and that's a news documentary show), why can't you?
Hey, we have been forced to accept fags, hippies, hispanics, and single mothers. We will only take so much.

My belly button is pierced.
I did it as soon as my belly flattened out again after my first son. I show it rarely, but it looks hot when I do bother.
As for pain.............ehhhhh, it hurt, but that wasn't my issue with the piercing.
It was infected and troublesome for a year and change.
Still to this day, if I go more than a day without a shower, it'll get crusty and irritated. MUST KEEP IT IMMENSELY CLEAN.
In my opinion, the hottest piercing available, but also one of the most high maintenance.

Not like I know, but Hottie- nothing should hurt more than popping something the size of a 5lb watermelon, out of a hole the size of a pea....
