JBE, If that'a all you needed done at 102,000 miles, that's very good. I'd keep the car. I have a '92 Chevy van I use for work. I have 162,000 miles on it. It still runs great. My last van had 210,000 miles on it before it died. I keep 'em 'till I kill 'em.

I had a '87 Nissan Pulsar that I kept for 111,000 miles. It got to the point where it was costing me too much in repairs and it wasn't reliable. I didn't want to get stuck somewhere with a young child, so I got rid of it and got a '98 Pontiac Sunfire which I just got rid of in November (for a 2004 Mazda Tribute) for no other reason than my son couldn't fit comfortably in the back seat and we needed something bigger. The Sunfire really was a piece of shit though.

i have a 1997 dodge stratus, bought it new. i've had nothing but problems with it the past couple of years and it only has 53,000 miles.
