Music Era's: Are you a fan of....
#21
Were you and Mrs. Moosen there????

Skid Row )without Sebastian) sucked, but Vince Neil was almost like seeing Motley Crue!

No, we weren't there. I just went to the Arts Center site and saw that they played together.

Unless these bands are performing as the lineup we remember them as, I really have no desire to see them.

AMEN to that!!! I saw the non Sebastian Skid Row in 2000 opening up for KISS at Jones Beach. It just ain't the same. They sucked. As for KISS, since Ace ain't with them and someone else is wearing his make up and costume, I have no desire to see them. Besides, they looked bored at Jones Beach. Not too many bands can still kick ass with major line up changes. Styx w/out Dennis DeYoung?? Sacrilege. There are only two or three that I can think of that actually did ok if not better. Anthrax(singer change) Journey(no more Steve Perry) I also agree with 4-60 on this that radio today isn't much to listen to anymore. Lots of garbage out there.
I'm not quite there yet

We're planning to go see Poison again next summer if they play at the Arts Center. You guys in? Angel

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!
another poison fan!!! WOO HOO!! Big Grin

I prefer Jones Beach only because my cousin is supervisor of security there......

Also, I'd have to say that Vince Neil is a fat poor slob who can't carry a tune anymore. I got to the show last year in the middle of his set....wow he was horrible. He ran out of breath in the middle of songs, had the audience finish for him....man was he a fucking joke.

Poison was really good, and I believe it's still the original lineup. I agree Vince Neil was having a hard time, but given that, he still did pretty damn good.

Jones Beach would take me WAYYY too long to get to. As it is, the Arts Center took about 40 minutes.

And Jimmy, Journey without Steve Perry? I can't even imagine. Although I saw them way back when and they were pretty sucky in concert. Styx was even worse. I thought I was gonna fall asleep.

It was pretty funny though. I thought EVERYONE would laugh when I said we were going to see Poison...most did, but there were also a lot of people that were like "I wish I had known! I would've gone!"

I'd most definitely go see Poison, but only if C.C. Deville wasn't in his "I'm an asshole and better than the rest of the band" phase and played like he did back when they were big.

Ahh, a girl after my own heart... Big Grin

Yanno, I did wind up finding the Bret/Pam video. It's short, from what I downloaded (the video that is). I don't know why. I think that sucks!
And uh yeah -- he's big. Not as big as Tommy, but he's packin'.:wow:
