I drink no man's kool aid.

Seriously though I'm a fan of the war on terror. I shudder to think of how anyone else may have handled it. Sure it's not the most flawless thing in the world but what the hell shit takes time as I believe he said when it all started.

Domestically he could do better. I think he was a little too eager to work with both parties in passing some things that coulda used a little more work.

Things could be better but they could also be a hell of a lot worse.

I said 'swell job' in joking as I really don't think he's the second coming or the greatest president ever. 9-11 fell in his lap and he handled it in a way that I agreed with. Maybe you don't agree. thas cool.

I'm disappointed in his wanting to appease illegal immagrants. Fuck that shit.

I didn't read teh whole thing laz posted here or when i recieved it in my email this morning. Either way I think McCain Feingold is a piece of shit and he signed it to make everyone happy.

I know my response may not be what you were looking for. I try to follow this shit and be knowledgable about all that is going on at home and abroad but when it all boils down to it, I really only care about killing terrorists somewhere other than here. ANd capturing them here and elsewhere.

DO I think the war on terror has stopped any terrorist attacks? Probably. That's not to say that we are safe 100%

Do I think there is probably someone out there that could handle it all better than Bush? Yeah.

Do I think that man is John Kerry or Ralph Nader?
No.

lets go over the great things bush has done in office:

Bush:

Took us from the biggest surplus ever to the biggest deficit ever

Lied to us to get us into a war for oil and crony contracts (e.g., Halliburton)

Put us into a deficit status which by the year 2012 will be a whopping $2.75 TRILLION!

Reduced household income by a gigantic 1.7%

Created a sagging economy which for the first time in modern history has a decline in manufacturing output

<img src="http://www.hermes-press.com/jobcreation.jpg">

Redefined our foreign policy as militaristic imperialism, with more that 53% of our budget going to Bush's crony defense industry contributors

Destroyed over 2.8 million jobs

Lied to us about tax cuts for the wealthiest 1% creating new jobs

Brought us into an incipient police state where Miami gestapo agents attack peaceful demonstrators, causing injuries and outrage

Republicans voted against criminal penalties for CEOs, tougher corporate regulations, executive accountability, greater auditing safeguards, and stronger protections for employee pensions.

I'd bet a hell of a lot more than $5 on him being reelected. Smile
