Another bad thing about this movie is that they will not have the confederate flag on top of the General Lee. It's not politicaly correct. Well then it's not the Dukes as far as I'm concerned.

It's not politicaly correct.That just made me absolutely certain that I won't see it. I was a big fan of the show when I was, I don't know, 6 years old. So, out of morbid curiousity for just how bad they could make it, I would have plunked down $10 to see it on the big screen. But if an essential part of the movie/show, the fucking car that was the star of the show, needs to be altered then DON'T MAKE THE FUCKING MOVIE. Christ, would we stop rewriting history just because it might piss off a few people?!

I'll just post this again, since the board is being all schizo today...
I've been a fan of the show since I was a kid, myself. The General Lee was one of the high points of the show. Now, so far, everyone is assuming that they're going to alter the flag or not put it on there. We don't know if that's true. But with the way everything's been going on since Miss Jackson flashed her titty, I wouldn't be surprised if they decide to not do it. The US has become everything it's not supposed to be...:disappointed:
