BEST TEAM IN NEW YORK
#11
Not only did the Mets sweep the Yankees, this was also the first time the Yankees were swept away from home since 2001!

It was also the most runs ever scored against the Yankees in a series.

The Mets basically beat an All Star team 4 out of 6 times over the past week and a half. Fairly impressive.

It was a kick ass series. I was glued to the TV most of the weekend. The real test comes this week and next. Playing Florida and Philly...Then we see how good they really are, fingers crossed, Mets fans...

There's nothing exciting about Shea at all, except the parking lot where you can BBQ.....
And yes, let the Mets fans gloat. I don't see them pulling any miraculous games every year. But all that matters is what happens in Sept/October, then I don't think Mets fans will be all giddy like they are now.
Like I said- let 'em gloat. For now.

What are you blind and stupid ?? Last year I remember the Mets pulling off some good come from behind games. This year we pulled a few too.

Oh, you mean when a team with half the payroll of the Yankees comes along and wins the World Series ?? Yeah. That will probably happen again.

*groans*

I do know this I have been in box seats in both stadiums. Hot dogs are cheaper at Shea. But one of those stadiums has this idiot with a cow bell ( I think Yankees) and it's really annoying.
