WFAN vs ESPN 1050
#1
*WARNING: The following post is a local reference topic for the NY/NJ/CT area*

When I want to listen to music while driving, I put in a CD most of the time and if I'm not listening to music, I'm usually listening to sports talk radio. (and this of course only really became a habit of mine after we lost O&A and I became very acclimated to listening to people talk over the radio)

So, if you listen in from time to time like I do, which station do you tend to listen to?

Also, who's your favorite personality on these two particular airwaves?

On ESPN, I appreciate the Dan Patrick Show but my favorite sports talk personality is Steve "The Scmooze" Summers of WFAN.

I very rarely listen to sports radio. Frankly it bores the piss out of me.

If I want or need sports info, I just go to ESPN.com and get all the info I need within minutes instead of sitting through hours of boring banter.

1050 ESPN Radio

I mostly listen to Wally & the Keeg in the afternoon.

I've won 2 "Shot clocks" already!
(Of course, that'st really not hard to do...have you heard some of the people who call up?)

When I lived in Jersey, I used to listen to the FAN, and it was Steve "the Schmoozer " Summers, together with Russ "The Sweater" Salzberg. I dont think they do a show together anymore though. Russ also did the sports on the 10 o'clock news on upn 9.. I am not sure if he does that anymore.

Long time, first time.

You gotta 460 a lot of credit, he gets the job done here. This is a clutch thread, and he gave it 110%.....firing on all cylinders. He's a work horse, and he just lays it all out on the line.....real smashmouth poster. I drafted 460 in the 9 Fantasy leagues I play in, and he's gonna be leader this team needs to make it to the big dance.

THEY'RE ALL THE SAME!!!!!!!!
