That really sucks. He/she was adorable. But you did the right thing, unless you were prepared to totally be its surrogate mother, he wouldn't have survived at that young an age. Tough decision though.

Sorry to hear that Crack.
My sister & bro-in-law had to do the same thing a few weeks ago. He found a kitten, only a couple of days old & brought it home. A friend of theirs, a vet, told them it wouldn't survive and they had to make that awful choice. They felt so bad that they went to a shelter & adopted 2 more. Anytime you have to make a decision to take an animals life, well it just sucks.

that sucks. i remember putting our 20 year old cat to sleep. blows. even more of a shame when a kitten can't live it's life.
